2pm - Gates Open

2:30pm - Derek Charles Johnson

First and foremost, Derek Charles Johnson is a follower of Christ.  The other “hats” he wears in ministry derive their purpose and meaning from his main identity in Jesus.  Musically, he is a songwriter, worship-leader, and recording artist.  Songs are melded with his passion for writing, blogging, and podcasting which take shape in his AS BOLD AS LIONS ministry.

Derek’s discography includes songs written from a worship leader’s heart.  His albums include “Carry On” (2014), “Seeing For The First Time” (2020) and “Hymns Vol. 1" (2022).  Whether singing old songs or new, the focus of Derek’s music is to present the Gospel.  “From hymns I’ve covered to songs I’ve written, I just want to proclaim the Good News.   Everything else aside, I want the listener to be drawn into a place of praise and adoration of Jesus Christ.”  He plans to release new music in 2023.  Derek is a Duluth native and appreciates the opportunity to come back to his roots at City On The Hill.  He and his wife Corrie reside in Spring Hill, Tennessee along with their 5 children.

3:15pm - Logan and Katie

“We just want to create music and moments that take ourselves out of the picture and give God His stage back”  Logan and Katie Oakes are based out of southern Indiana. Logan began his musical career in the early 2010’s and had two songs on the Christian Billboard Rock Charts with his band “The Lasting Hope”. Logan and Katie met after Katie’s return from Africa doing ministry. The two married in March of 2020 and have been using their new relationship to grow closer to Christ as individuals and as a married couple. The duo lead worship at their home church in Paris Crossing, Indiana. Since meeting, the two have led worship at camps, conferences and festivals.

4:15pm - Trampolines

Trampolines is an explosive electronic band propelled by missional purpose that has taken them all around the world. Their genre-defying range is clear from a slew of singles featuring top voices from multiple styles: “Hey You” (featuring Aaron Cole), “Amen to That” (featuring Disciple’s Kevin Young), “Fight My Fight for Me” (featuring Citizen Way) and “FUTUREGLOW” (featuring Neon Feather).

Husband and wife duo Lane and Cary Terzieff lead Trampolines. Their high-energy music has a divinely inspired twist: 100% of Trampolines’ proceeds fuel their missions and humanitarian work in regions like Southeast Asia, Europe and Africa. “I read the Bible and I just think, we gotta do this stuff,” Lane says. He’s specifically referring to James 1:27, the duo’s personal liturgy: “Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress.”

Trampolines has over 500,000 followers across social media platforms, and has racked up over 20 million streams. They’ve performed on stages in front of as many of 50,000 people, with their touring experience spanning 40 U.S. states and over 20 countries.

5:15pm - Brennley Brown

Brennley’s musical story begins as a four-year-old girl on her family’s ranch in Apple Valley, California. Her dad introduced her to the sound of the steel guitar, and to the voices of country legends like Waylon Jennings, Emmylou Harris, and Merle Haggard. This musical influence, combined with her unwavering faith in Jesus, produces an artist who brings a new, unique sound to Country and Christian music.

Music quickly became a sacred space of comfort; a place where Brennley connected with God while navigating her mom’s battle with life-threatening Cardiac Lyme Disease. The hope and healing Brennley came to know through that trial fostered her calling to share the authentic love of Jesus through her music.

7:00pm - Matt Maher

Intrinsically linked to the human condition are the desires to be known, understood, and heard: to count for things that matter. Echoes, the newest studio record from MATT MAHER (Essential/Sony) is a collection of declarations in the midst of dealing with human suffering. After writing most of the songs for the record, Maher lost his father, and “Echoes” took on a whole new personal dimension for the artist. “Worship music paints with broad strokes for large groups of people, that stem from intimate stories and experiences; the challenge, as a creator, is to somehow let the former come out of the latter.” In his own moment of loss, Maher found himself processing his grief from the truths and declarations in the new songs. “Jesus chose to respond to death by embracing it. By embracing it, He destroyed it. This record became, for me, my response to sin and suffering. I had to formulate my own echo. I had to decide if I was going to echo the message of the cross back to the world, or my own narrow view of suffering.”

9:00pm - TobyMac

With more than 16 million units in career sales and a whopping seven GRAMMY Awards, TobyMac’s career continues on the fast track. His 2015 RIAA Certified Gold studio album, THIS IS NOT A TEST, garnered a GRAMMY Award and Billboard Music Award nomination on top of debuting at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200. Each of his six studio solo projects have achieved Gold certification, a first for any artist in the history of his label, Capitol Christian Music Group. Among those is 2012’s EYE ON IT, which debuted atop the Billboard 200, only the third Christian album ever to do so.

THE ELEMENTS, his latest GRAMMY-nominated, full collection of music, boasted “Everything,” “Scars,” “Edge of My Seat,” “See The Light” and more alongside the chart-topper, RIAA Gold Certified “I just need U.” His most recent singles, “21 Years,” “Help Is On the Way (Maybe Midnight),” “Promised Land,” “The Goodness (feat. Blessing Offor),” “Everything About You (feat. Marlee)” and “Show Up Choose Love (feat. Jon Reddick),” are available wherever you stream music, along with his GRAMMY nominated seventh studio project, LIFE AFTER DEATH.

And her unwavering belief in God’s ability to heal and the power of prayer have swiftly turned her into a viral sensation thanks to her debut single, “In Jesus Name (God of Possible),” now sound-tracking millions of personal stories on TikTok and Instagram. The song, however, finds its genesis in Katy’s own narrative—a miraculous story of suffering, hope, and ultimately, healing.

Long before TikTok was even a social platform, Katy was singing in her church choir. By 14, she was writing songs and leading worship. “My earliest memories of feeling the Lord’s presence were when I was singing and when I had a song in my heart,” Katy recalls. “Singing has always been that place for me where I’m at my best—it’s the best feeling ever.”
